During the Venice Art Crawl tomorrow evening, the Canal Club will host an exhibition of restaurateur and artist Daniel Samakow’s works. 100% of of the sales of Samakow’s artwork will be donated to AIDS Lifecycle! Go get some great art and help support a great cause!
From Danny:
This show will include a special limited edition of prints, each individually signed and marked for this special event. They will be magic bullets to raise money to help people who have AIDS and educate a new generation. The prints will be specially priced ($200 and less) that night to thank you for supporting this worthy cause. There will also be a raffle and other surprises!
This fight against AIDS is far from over. For the past months I’ve been training to be part of the AIDS Lifecycle ride (yes, the 547 mile bicycle ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles) which, I will do beginning June 2. AIDS has taken so many of our friends and this ride and show are meant to honor those friends and raise money for this cause.
I’ve named my black & white bicycle BARTOK after James’ and my first dog, the subject of many of my paintings and my spiritual friend on the ride. This show features many pieces of Bartok, some pieces have never been seen before! There will be food, drink and more. So please come, bring friends and tell everyone!
