The Los Angeles Board of Public Works is now accepting proposals for “Keep Los Angeles Beautiful (KLAB)” Grants, competitive matching grants that are awarded to community groups for neighborhood beautification projects. The deadline for project submissions is Sept. 21.
KLAB has $30,000 in total, and each project can be awarded a maximum of $5,000. KLAB is run by the Department of Public Works and its aim is to engage residents, businesses and community organizations in a collective effort to prevent litter, promote the reduction of waste and beautify neighborhoods.
