The 3rd annual 13.1 Los Angeles half marathon and Karhu 5k is going to be held this Sunday, January 15th from 7-11am. Runners should make their way out of Venice by 8-ish am. There will be street closures in Venice as seen in the map below. Click here to make the map larger.
The race shares the road with traffic. The runners will be in a coned lane that separated the runners from traffic. There will be Police Officers placed at each traffic intersection to control traffic.
Road and lane closures have not been posted to the event website as of now, but expect event traffic throughout Venice. The race starts on Rose with runners using Ocean Front Walk from Rose to South Venice. From there they will head east on South Venice to Ocean, then east on Washington Blvd (west of Abbot Kinney) before heading to Marina Del Rey.
