The Venice Canals Association‘s 4th of July Downwind Regatta will start this year at 1:45 pm! All entrants must be powered by the wind! Spectators can watch on Linnie Canal, but are asked not to bring dogs!
Monday, July 4th 2011 Linnie Canal Downwind Regatta!
10am-1:15pm: Rubber Ducky Sales ($5 each- winners get cash prizes!)
10am-4pm: Venice Canals Yacht Club Gear Sales
1:30pm-3pm: Judging – creative/ crazy hat contest
1:30pm: Start of rubber ducky race
1:45pm: Start of downwind regatta (kids)
2:00pm: Start of downwind regatta (adults)
2:30pm-4:30pm: Pot Luck BBQ! (2400 Grand Canal Court)
