Lightning Bolt threw a party Tuesday night to celebrate their new Venice store which officially opens this Monday, December 13th. The “new” Lighting Bolt is funded by Portuguese textile group TMG-SA and has Jonathan Paskowitz (“Doc” Paskowitz’s kid) in as President.

The Venice store is the first stand-alone Lightning Bolt branded shop since the original store started by Gerry Lopez and Jack Shipley in Honolulu during the ’70s. It features Lightning Bolt tees, shorts, sweats and surfboards with nostalgia photos and posters from the early days when Lightning Bolt was first launched in Hawaii in 1971.
