There is a new sign on the Venice Postal Annex, which probably means the “pool of qualified candidates” didn’t work out so well. Maybe they should try putting it on Ebay?
When last we asked Martin J. McDermott at Grubb & Ellis, we were told “the USPS has selected a pool of qualified candidates to negotiate with on the sale of the Venice property. It is not expected that we will be in escrow prior to the end of Q1 2010.” The parcel is 1.78 acres, triangular in shape and has approximately 409 feet of frontage along Grand Boulevard.
