“Superb Stoneware”: Lori Kingsnorth‘s tips for some great shopping finds around Venice!
Luna Garcia has been in Venice since 1985. The stoneware is inspired by the creator’s love of Mexico and it’s spicy/colorful cuisine. Names of glazes include azure, pistachio, celadon and cantaloupe. ‘Dots’ collection is available in many different combinations such as multi-color/on the rim/ and all over.

The Tortoise General Store is a tranquil shop that has beautifully hand-crafted Japanese stoneware on the shelves. Tortoise believes the older traditional items bring positive energy with them and that their new items bring future longevity and energy. Various stoneware collections are offered. Be sure to follow the walkway located in the back of the shop to be led to many more discoveries.
