The Asics LA Marathon will be held this Sunday, March 9th, starting at 7am. 25,000 runners are expected to journey 26.2 miles from Dodger Stadium to the finish in Santa Monica. If you can’t make the run yourself, consider cheering on the participants! Coverage of the race will also be on KTLA-5 starting at 6am for those that are “up late” or want to see a loved one on TV!
LA Marathon Street Closures, Sunday, March 9th, 2014
Locally, the race will close down streets in Santa Monica, as the race finishes on Santa Monica Blvd between Ocean Ave and 2nd Street. Expect street closures north of Pico!
