On Saturday, April 6th, Surfrider will host an “Ocean Friendly Gardens” workshop at Beyond Baroque from 10 am to 3 pm! Participants can join in at any time during the day and the event is FREE!
During the gardening party, participants can “learn how to turn a typical lawn into a resource-wise, habitat-friendly, and Ocean Friendly Garden (OFG)!”
The workshop is the first in a series of three hands on workshops which will create the new Ocean Friendly Garden demonstration project at Beyond Baroque. Beyond Baroque was awarded a 2013 Keep Los Angeles Beautiful grant, which is funding the workshops/ makeover.
