Last we heard of the TV Pilot “Westside” (previously titled “Venice”), they had plopped some RV’s on the sand and were shooting near the Venice Skatepark.
I sure hope “Westside” has a character named Bodhi!
The new news about the McG directed pilot “about the haves and the have-not’s of California’s most seductive city, Venice” is that they will be “hanging” a character from the Venice sign while a bonfire rages beneath him tomorrow night. Supposedly the character that gets hung runs the “Venice Republic Surf Shop” (filmed at Mollusk).
As always, my fingers are crossed that this pilot ends up on YouTube rather than a shelf at ABC!
