There will be a candlelight vigil to remember Alice Gruppioni and the fellow victims of Saturday night’s tragedy on Ocean Front Walk this evening starting at 6pm at (and in front of) The Candle Café at 325 Ocean Front Walk.
Newlyweds Alice Gruppioni and Christian Casadei
Gruppioni was killed on Saturday when Nathan Louis Campbell, described as a homeless drifter, drove his car down Ocean Front Walk, allegedly to inflict as much damage to others as possible.
A portion of all meals and drinks purchased at The Candle Café will be donated to the “When You Wish” non-profit fundraiser set up for the victims of Venice Boardwalk tragedy. Members of “When You Wish” will also be at the vigil to answer any questions and to accept donations.
