A Day for Wylie Moms

11:11am

Today we celebrate Mothers. The Moms we love; our Moms, and the Moms we wish were ours! HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!

Wylie Wilson is celebrating Moms all day long with a Mothers Day brunch in the garden at their Salon at 1301 Abbot Kinney Blvd., Venice.

Green Truck will be there for healthy Superfood, you can BYOB, and celebrate Mom all afternoon with live music from Scotty P, and The Flower Punks.

Everyone is welcome to join the fun. At today’s event Moms are invited to schedule an appointment to custom design their own Wylie Wilson bra and panties.

Each bra is handmade in Venice and Wylie’s wear-it-forward policy means that every time a customer purchases a bra at a Wylie store, she guarantees a free bra for a sister fighting breast cancer.

Wylie Wilson was started by Actress Peta Wilson. The store was a way for her to transition out of the demands of the acting world and spend more time raising her son. While still satisfying her need to be creative.

Wilson said she was inspired to make bras and panties after struggling to find something that made her feel sexy. “Comfort is the key to a woman being her most evocative,” says Wilson. She had found that all bras were made to fit a certain type of body. “No one woman has the same body. We are unique and a bra should fit to you, not you fit to it,” she says.
