Venice Beach Could Blow You Away

The National Weather Service has issued a strong wind advisory. Warning gusty northwest winds across portions of southwest California, including Venice Beach.

A low pressure system to the east will result in blustery conditions through Monday night. Wind gusts of 35 to 55 mph can generally be expected.

With hazardous driving conditions likely, the NWS cautions be safe on the roads. The strong winds may also down power lines and trees.

The advisory will remain in effect until 9pm tonight.
