Winter Venice Art Crawl returns Thursday, Dec. 18

Enjoy a Winter Wonderland in Venice Thursday, Dec. 18, along with Santa and his elves and hundreds of visitors coming together in one of LA..’s most iconic neighborhoods for an evening of art, projections, snow, design, and entertainment: The Venice Art Crawl (VAC).

From 6 pm to 10 pm, this historical beach community becomes a showplace for everyone to appreciate the art that is being created every day while getting to know the businesses that encourage it.

VAC is excited to work with and welcome their new sponsor Qart.com Gallery & Showroom that will be highlighting artwork by Godard, Berberyan, Wyland, Tom Everhart, and Marvel Comics artwork signed by Stan Lee and many more.

If you want to experience snow at the beach traipse over to The Terrace Cafe and also check out their delightful installation of work by children and teens from The Boys & Girls Clubs of Venice. Outdoor projections on local buildings of character and environment designs, 3D animations, and CGI visual effects by Gnomon School of Visual Effects, Games & Animation. The Agency will be presenting the work of Kwaku Alston. The Agency 310 W. Washington Blvd., Venice 90292.

Experience the all female art exhibition and bazaar, LADY: The Art of Fashion, featuring the work of Marlena McClain and other female artists. LADY will be at Venice Love Shack, a hip colorful furniture shop, 2121 Lincoln Blvd., Venice 90291. 310.306.6742.

Enjoy emerging, ground-breaking and veteran artists in a range of media including painting, printmaking, photography, sculpture, and mixed-media by walking from venue to venue.

Include dinner in your special evening at the numerous Venice restaurants such as: Danny’s Venice, Hama Sushi, Canal Club, The Sidewalk Café, James’ Beach, Mercede’s Grille, and The Whaler.

The Venice Art Crawl is an organization by and for the people and was established August 2010. VAC is now part of the Venice Chamber of Commerce.

The VAC wants to share, inspire and promote collaboration within the Venice populace through mixers and art events hosted by local businesses and artists’ studios. VAC’s goal is to foster and reinvigorate the creativity that has historically made Venice such a vibrant and dynamic community.
