The Venice Neighborhood Council gave the go-ahead for the proposed Superba Bread Company at 1900 Lincoln (Lincoln & Marco Pl, the old Rudy’s garage) at their board meeting last night.
The Superba Bread Company will be the latest for Superba Snack Bar / Pitfire Pizza founder Paul Hibler. The project has been described as similar in concept to Superba on Rose but it will feature a bakery (that may include home delivery).
“Local 1205”, opened in November of 2011 at 1205 Abbot Kinney, was also approved to begin selling and dispensing beer and wine.
