Launched in December by Giles and Laura Donovan, The Venice Merchant made their 10th delivery this week!
Starting with 150 members at launch, the service now delivers crates of locally sourced fruits, vegetables, meats, cheeses, breads and many more items to over 200 Venice residents. Multiple friends have told me they are quite happy with the Venice Merchant, give it a go and try this local business out!

Each crate comes with three seasonal recipe ideas for the produce and is fully customizable – join us this week as we celebrate the warm weather by grilling the ultimate VM Burger, our own blend of grass fed beef from the idyllic Sierra View Ranch. We also have the recipes for an awesome Baby Arrugula, New Potato and Goat Cheese Salad, a classic Grilled Asparagus, and a Ruby Red Greyhound cocktail!
Join us to eat well, share the bounty of our local organic farms, and make a difference by supporting growers, and animal caretakers who share our beliefs in the environment and respectful animal husbandry.
