The Allstate 13.1 Marathon will be held this Sunday, January 13th. The race starts (7am) at Rose and Ocean Front Walk, proceeds down Ocean Front Walk to Venice, heads East to Ocean Ave and then South to the Marina. The race will be finished by noon.
The organizers will have entertainment stations along the course. This includes: “Bands, Performances, Cheer Squads, Community Group Aid Stations and Dj’s pumping tunes that will keep you movin’ all through out the fun-filled 13.1 mile course”.
The following streets will be closed:
Pacific Ave. at Venice Blvd. – 6:45am – 7:45am
South Venice Blvd. – 6:45am – 8:00am
Ocean Ave. – 6:45am – 8:30am
Vista del Mar (between Culver and Grand Ave) – 6:00am – 12 noon
Marina del Rey will have runners on Admiralty Way between 6:45am – 9:00am.
