“The Roots of Music Marching Crusaders” will be playing at the Santa Monica Pier today, starting at 4pm! The band will also be participating in the Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena on New Years Day!
The non-profit Roots of Music Program serves over 100 students in New Orleans, providing music education in history, theory, instrumental instruction and ensemble performance to at risk youth. Academic tutoring is also offered to participants to ensure the students maintain at least a 2.5 GPA in school.
