The Other Venice Film Festival: October 12-14!

The Other Venice Film Festival, dedicated to screening full-length, short and animated films that embody the spirit, energy and diversity of Venice Beach, returns for its ninth season featuring more than 60 filmmakers from ten countries on October 12th-14th!

Tickets are now available through The Other Venice Film Festival website or by phone at 310.463-0275. Based on availability, tickets will also be sold the day of at the door. All of the screenings and events will be held at Beyond Baroque (681 Venice Blvd).

Schedule of events:

Opening Night Friday, October 12, 2012: Bree Walker Red Carpet
6pm: Doors open. Live band performance by Natural Hi-Fi
8pm: World premiere of “Ballad Of Danko Jones” opening (short film) starring Elijah Wood,Ralph Macchio, Selma Blair, Lemmy Kimster and Jena Malone

Underbelly Blues Starring, Elizabeth Croydon,Seamus Reed,Marc Hatchell, Nathan Hurd; Tarantino Production (feature)

Q & A with the Filmmakers

10pm: Opening Party with DJ Michael Stackhouse, live performance art, food and libations from the great chefs of Venice in Outdoor Patio.

9pm: Music Video Series; The Me, Albino Rain Drop World Premiere and Live performance by Venice Rock Star Stevie Starlight.
