Second notice! On June 26th, as part of the Venice High Centennial Sunday activities, a group of early risers will try to break the Guinness World Record for “Largest Skateboarding Parade”.

Currently, the record to beat appears to be 250 participants! We can DO this Venice, despite the fact the organizers scheduled it with a check-in between 7-9, with the skate parade at 10am. The organizers (or people at the city permit department) may be unaware that the skateboarding lifestyle and 7 am on a Sunday mix about as well as oil and water!
The starting point is at Pacific and South Venice Blvd. It will travel east on Venice and terminate at Venice High School.
The event is part of an all weekend party, more to come on that next week!
