Tomorrow is Venice Arts 23rd Anniversary Gala and you can still get tickets!

The above photo, taken by Jeff Bridges on the set of The Big Lebowski is one of over 75 photos taken by professionals and Venice Arts students that will be available at the gala.

The annual event is Venice Arts’ signature fundraiser. Including live music from the Santa Monica High Jazz Combo, food and drink donated by local restaurants, wine from Alba Cellars, beer from Lagunitas, agave spirits from Revel and a vodka cocktail by Tito’s Vodka and local cocktail bar The Lincoln. Caricature drawing, portraits, a student-run photo booth and a raffle will be among the evening’s activities, which will run from 5-8pm at the Venice Arts building at 1702 Lincoln Blvd.

A silent auction featuring collectible photographs, including one of  A rare double exposure print of Bob Dylan taken by Jim Hubbard and a photo of Julianne Moore, taken by Jeff Bridges on the set of the The Big Lebowski are just two of the over 75 photographs up for auction.

The auction will also include photographs by Venice Arts’ talented students, as well as items from local artisans and creative businesses.

Venice Arts provides free, high-quality media based arts education to low-income youth. With a mission to ignite  imagination, mentor creativity, and expand a sense of possibility through high quality, accessible media–based arts education programs.

All money raised goes directly towards sustaining the organization’s transformative programs.
