On March 1, 1996, Life Rolls On founder, Jesse Billauer stood with the top 100 junior surfers in the world. Three weeks later, a wave at Zuma Beach rendered him unable to stand again. However, this paralyzing accident would not keep Billauer from surfing. He pioneered adaptive surfing gear, and with the help of the loyal surf community, got back to the big waves he loves. Then he created Life Rolls On, leading the way to freedom beyond paralysis.

They Will Surf Again, has grown into a catalyst of hope for thousands of 6 LRO 2015 Steve Christensen Photoindividuals throughout the world and has expanded to skate parks across the country under the banner of Life Rolls On.

For an inspring display of skate skills in action head to Venice Beach Skate Park today, Saturday July 16 from 9:00am – 4:00pm.

After the event join the after party at Hotel Irwin, 1697 Pacific Ave.  Venice, from 4:00pm until 7:00pm.
